Please not this is me upgrading my computer from fedora 7 to fedora 8. This is not a step by step on how to upgrade your own computer to fedora 8
I am about to update my pc from fedora 7 to fedora 8, i hope everything goes well. Damn nvraid, sucks setting up fake raid, luckily it is easier to set it up in fedora than Ubuntu. Thats one thing that bothers me, Ubuntu is supposed to be so user-friendly but in order to set up fake raid (which is what you have to use with nvraid) you have to do it command line. It wouldn’t bother me if i didn’t have anything to loose but my pc also runs windows xp and i don’t feel like loosing all my stuff over there. Anywho i hope the upgrade is pretty simple and that compiz fusion works without me doing any tinkering (its currently working in fedora 7).
