Please note that this is just what I have running in fedora 8. It is not a walk through on how to set it up and get apps running.
Just like the title says i have fedora 8 up and running with all the stuff i wanted. Im using KDE instead of gnome. KDE really needs an easier to use task manager, like the one gnome has. I set up synergy so i am able to use my mouse and keyboard from my mac in fedora. I pretty much have it set up to where i would not really need windows anymore if i felt like using linux BUT i still need windows for my games :P Oh and btw compiz fusion is really cool, the inside of my cube is an aquarium. I’ll try and get a picture of everything one of these days. I already cant wait till fedora 9 because it will be using KDE 4 instead of gnome as the default.
