A few days ago I was playing around with activity monitor and decided to inspect Firefox. I saw the Shared Memory flash some huge amount. Luckily I was able to get a screen shot of it the next time it happened. Pretty funny bug, There are a lot of ways this could happen without knowing how the calculation is done. The biggest one that came to mind was it treating a signed number as an unsigned one. Hope you find the image pretty amusing.
